Come to Oakland on Monday---Don't let the students fight alone

If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, come to this on Monday and bring your friends and neighbors.  The students should know that we are with them. This flier has been distributed by the UC Berkeley students.

Why is the UC administration repressing those who are fighting to defend
public education?

Last Friday dozens of students and workers were brutalized by the police
with the complicity of the UC administration. Come rally in support of the
victims. This is not just about police brutality; it is an important step
towards deepening the struggle against the fee hikes, cuts, and lay-offs.

12 pm rally on Sproul Plaza

1:30 pm gathering at the Oakland Courthouse

661 Washington Ave (near 12th st. BART), Oakland, Room: 112, Time: 2pm

*If you were cited or injured during the strike and did not receive media
coverage, here is your chance to have your voice heard! Please show up to
the rally on Monday

*If you have any evidence of police brutality, please bring it to the
rally on Monday! Also post it on:
