The events taking place in Turkey are a confirmation of the impossibility of a real peace in Iraq brokered by the US proxy there. Here is a video from the BBC on the last two days events. There is no way Turkey will allow an independent Kurdish state in Northern Iraq; there are fifteen million or so Kurds in Turkey.
On another note, 900 have been arrested at protests in Copenhagen.
