I am a nurse up here in Toronto, Canada, union activist and socialist, and am sitting here at work, checking the blog and e-mails. Blog is amazing by the way -getting the scoop really fastfrom Berkeley.
I just have to say that the UCB and all protests/occupations at UC campuses are inspiring. Students and supporters are showing the way to organize and escalate the fight back against attacks on workers ,students and all our public services.
Just imagine what we could do if the trade union leaders showed similiar combativness-Shame on them.
Hats off to the students and all their supporters , for their work, their skills and their right-on occupation.
Millions are in solidarity-right behind them.
This is just the beginning!
