Ukraine, Russia and Pelosi's Provocations

It is not an exaggeration to admit that we are in extremely dangerous times. There is a real possibility that the proxy war the US is waging in Ukraine against a weaker imperialist rival, could get out of hand and that Russia, if pushed too far, could use tactical nuclear weapons.

I would like to think it unlikely, but the situation is extremely volatile. The US is willing to weaken its Russian competitor to the last Ukrainian standing if need be in order to move more aggressively toward its main adversary in the competition for control over the world's wealth and resources, and that is China.

In the video I point out that Peggy Noonan, Ronald Reagan's former speechwriter and respected Republican theoretician, reminds her class in her last Wall Street Journal opinion piece of a previous time when tensions between these two great powers almost brought us to WW3. There are some great quotes from JFK and it's clear that some of them are aimed at the reckless and insane decision by Pelosi to go to Taiwan and Biden's tough guy rhetoric toward Russia and even earlier when he referred to Putin as thug and a killer.

The present crisis is not about mad men or macho posturing, or whether Putin is a killer or not. Any US president accusing any other world leader of such things has no credibility with the vast majority of people on the planet. From my point of view I believe that Noonan's comments reflect a genuine concern among the more astute and serious elements of the US ruling class and we should take note of them.
