This is a very powerful movie about the Marikana Massacre that also won prestigious awards. If you can make this event please do so. Also, while it is very popular with socialists and others on the left, the "usual suspects" as we say, working class people in general are very moved by it. You can get a copy of the film by contacting us at this blog or the people organizing this event and we strongly urge you to show it at your church, local pub, union hall or other places workers frequent. It is important to bring issues like these to the attention of the wider working class.
The San Leandro Workers Club showed it at a local pub and it was very well attended by people not normally exposed to events like these.
