Free Bradley Manning: Legal defense requests evidence

The government is withholding important evidence that would help Bradley's case, reports Kim Zetter. While the Wired article, "Feds Withholding Evidence Favorable to Bradley Manning, Lawyer Charges", notes that a DIA review found no evidence of any harm to national security, legal counsel David Coombs explains that the administration has stonewalled even routine requests for evidence, as well as copies of video surveillance of his meetings with Manning. After 555 days of pretrial confinement, including 250 days spent in solitary conditions, the Military has finally announced that PFC Bradley Manning's Pretrial Hearing will begin on December 16th in the Washington D.C. area. Fort Meade Main Gate, Maryland 175 & Reece Rd, Fort Meade, MD 21113. Vigil (or attend the hearing) Friday, December 16th, 8am to 5pm. Rally and march Saturday, December 17th, Noon to 3pm.
