The wrong side of history.

It never fails. On the wrong side of history on one issue and you end up on the wrong side again and again. Take Zionism. Here it is completely opposed to the mass uprisings of the Arab working classes against their vicious Imperialist supported regimes. Zionism is terrified at what is happening. Much better for them the right wing dictatorships. Just like it lined up with apartheid South Africa against the revolution there. Just like they are in the pockets and are the agents of US imperialism Zionism stands always on the right and against the interests of working people. And not only that. Zionism stands against the real interests of the working class in Israel itself. They increasingly back them into a corner surrounded by the hundreds of millions of the Arab world.

And when you have a right ideology such as Zionism it leaves you with strange bed fellows. As I wrote yesterday al Qaeda has condemned the uprisings in the Arab world. These uprisings are a catastrophe for them. They represent the mass progressive movement of the working class as opposed to the individual terrorist methods and the backward ideology of al Qaeda. Zionism and al Qaeda together. And we also see the ambivalence at best of the Iranian regime with which Israel is at logger heads. They too cannot figure out if they really support the uprisings. They are getting a bit close to home for them as they are encouraging the uprising in their own country.

The freak and vicious dictator in Libya hangs on but appears to be loosing his base. As we observe this and support the movement against him we see further the ties that have bound his supporters over his decades in power. US, British, European Imperialism all propped him up and kept him in power. They wanted the oil. This was so bad that even the mass capitalist media has been showing footage of the stooges of Imperialism, Rice, Bush, Blair, Berlusconi, and others lining up to boot lick Ghadafi. We even see Berlusconi kissing his hand.

Full support for the working class across the entire Arab world, the Middle East and North Africa. This force united, across all national and ethnic lines is what can overthrow Ghadafi and all the regimes and open up the way to a democratic socialist federation of the middle east where the wealth is owned and shared by all.

One of the factors in the great uprisings has been the role of the new international media and communications. Wikileaks has played an important role. Imperialism and all the right wing regimes hate wikileaks. They are trying to crush it. They are torturing Bradley Manning in his US prison and now they have decided to extradite Assange from Britain to Sweden from where he could be extradited to the USA. We must keep up our defense of wikileaks, Assange and Manning.
