Protests against Gadaffi regime in Libya Wednesday morning

Protests throughout Libya against the Gadaffi regime.  Gadaffi has been in power 41 years. Tear gas and batons have been used against protesters.  A "Day of Rage" has been called for tomorrow emulating the days of rage called in other North African and Middle Eastern regimes over the past two months.

"Libyan state television reported that rallies were taking place all over the country early this morning “in support of the rule of the people by the people”, reports Al Jazeera.  Also, according to bloggers, two people have been killed and dozens injured.  Gadaffi has also shut down the internet.
