Corruption at Gaza checkpoints from Wikileaks. We demand the immediate release of Bradley Manning

Israel's work in Gaza with help from the US taxpayer
Latest Wikileaks cables reveal that Israel was demanding bribes for goods to enter Gaza. One of the major cargo crossing checkpoints was “rife” with corruption and that companies delivering goods to the besieged Palestinians in this Israeli concentration camp were forced to pay big bribes according to cables dispatched by U.S. diplomats in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
Companies affected included Procter & Gamble, Caterpillar, Philip Morris, Westinghouse, Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, Aramex and Dell They had all complained of corruption at the crossing, according to the released cable. This is the information that we are not supposed to know. This is why US politicians are calling for Wikileaks to be silenced and its co-founder Julian Assange to be tried and dealt with. The US government and the Israeli government are responsible for the horrendous conditions that prevail in Gaza. The accusations against Assange concerning sexual misconduct have to be seen in this light.

The incarceration and torture by the US, government of the young Bradley Manning the heroic soldier who is accused of downloading the cables and passing them on to Wikileaks is an attempt to intimidate and therefore silence any American whether solider or civilian that might reveal the dirty goings on between the rotten governments of the so-called free world.

Only a few of the 250,000 cables have been released. Amazon, Paypal, Swiss banks and other corporations under pressure from the US government have attacked Wikileaks. Wikileaks donated less money to Manning’s defense due to the closing of its bank accounts and the attacks on its ability to raise money, by Paypal and MasterCard and other corporations.

The defense of free speech and recognition that Wikileaks is doing us all a great service must be understood. We must not sit idly by while the liars and crooks attack basic democratic rights. Bradley Manning is and American hero and we demand his immediate release. We must also demand all those who support democratic rights and the truth to assist Wikileaks in one way or another in releasing the rest of the information in its possession, apparently, it an expensive process.

Defend Wikileaks, Free Bradley Manning
