Chelsea Clinton's upcoming marriage to investment banker Marc Mezvinski is not going to be as extravagant as some of the wasters that marry each other. It is most likely the wedding will cost between $2 to $3 million although some put it has high as $5 million. One insider says that Chelsea won't "let it get too extreme." so two to three million dollars is most likely.
The insider suggested some estimates:
Wedding Gown: Vera Wang gown estimate, $20,000
Cake: $20,000
Flowers: $250,000
Catering: $750,000
Beverages: $30,000
Tents: $600,000
Portable Toilets: $15,000 to $20,000 (Air conditioning and attendants)
Entertainment: $40,000
The taxpayer will also fork over some money directly in the form of security given the political character of the group.
These are politicians that claim to be friends of working people, of the "common man". They write books about families and chair foundations or institutions, the purpose we are told, is top save the people of the world from hunger.
