Who needs a home anyway?

Isn't freedom swell! In the great depression, milk was poured down the drain rather than giving it to starving workers. After all, giving it away would depress prices. The Wall Street Journal reported that a Texas bank chose to demolish a new housing project rather than finish it because it was more profitable.

I suppose the bank received some taxpayer money to help them demolish these homes. Don't tell me we can't do better than this.
