a couple of things

Under slogans such as "Leave our kids alone" 15,000 people marched in Dublin Ireland against the cuts in education in the government's budget. Women and children were dominant in this very energetic and angry demonstration. The second shoe is falling in Ireland with the most recent vicious budget and the collapse in construction. This is what will soon be happening in the US and in other countries. But out of this a new movement will be born. As Marx said: "Sometimes the revolution needs the whip of the counter revolution."

And what is going to happen here in the US when the second shoe falls here. There are already 11% of the workforce unemployed or under employed. There are the many more in the prisons who are not counted. The slump that is fast following capitalism's financial crash threatens to bring mass unemployment to a level not seen since the 1930's. A new movement will be born here also.
