This strike and the support it has gotten is ushering in a new era. Mike Lynch and other labor officials in the UK are having an influence tapping in to the mood and standing up for the working class. There is no way the workers in the rest of Europe and throughout the world are not keeping an eye on it and a significant victory of the workers in the UK will be a positive thing for all of us.
The bosses are in a bind because they too see the support these industrial actions are garnering. We are in the post pandemic economy and there will be more battles ahead, not just in Europe. As Roger Silverman pointed out in his recent post on this blog, "From Colombia to Lebanon to Sudan to Belarus to Sri
Lanka and countless points in between, millions of people are in revolt. ". We can add so many areas of the world to that.
