This is the Navy Veteran who was beaten by Trump's gangsters in Portland Oregon. A decent and courageous guy. I thought the interviewer could have opened the issue up a bit and raised some other points. We saw a civil war in Standing Rock when Native people and their allies and supporters were attacked. We have seen the police viciously attack Black people and their supporters and allies protesting the murder of unarmed Black folks by the cops. I understand this man's concern about identification and constitutional issues but whether the state security forces wear insignia or not doesn't matter much when they're beating you over the head.
Despite that, his actions and the support Portlanders are getting is a refreshing sight indeed. I have coworkers who vigorously defend the police and some who even consider Black Lives matter activists terrorists. I do hope they will condemn this man for his actions and praise the feds that attacked him. It's important for people to be open about their views and defend them if they are to have any credibility at all.
What is so bizarre about US society is you can see what is clearly a violent attack on this man, you can see all sorts of sexual imagery, all types of violence yet in another report on MSNBC I saw of this they blurred the finger sign the veteran gave ton Trumps thugs.
