And as far as going to work to die, this happens without pandemics, dying can just take a little longer and workers in the meat packing industry have been refusing to go to work without proper protection. The US government has threatened them with firing and not providing stimulus money. The same applies to field workers. They have been dying for decades from heat exhaustion, chemicals etc.

This pandemic is revealing whose labor is productive and valuable. Those that earn the most in society do no productive labor at all, they produce no value. Unlike these health workers they don't maintain human beings, workers whose labor produces wealth.
