Auld Lang Syne - We'll Take A Cup Of Kindness Yet. 2019.

Facts For Working People.

When 2018 gave way to 2019 people internationally were singing Auld Lang Syne by Robbie Burns. Those of us who produce this Blog ask our readers not to leave it there. One of the organizers of this Blog - John Throne - has written a new book  - it is called  "We'll Take A Cup Of Kindness yet". This is a line from Auld Lang Syne by Robbie Burns.  Here is a video of a launch of the book at the Teachers Club in Dublin Ireland in October of this year. There you will see and hear amongst other things why the book has this title.

You can also check out the table of contents this book here. So please, we the organizers of this Blog make this request: If you have not already got a copy of "We'll Take A Cup Of Kindness Yet" make one of your first tasks of the new year to order one. This book and John Throne's other book, the best selling "The Donegal Woman", can be ordered at Books.ie

The reader can also check out the relevant information at this  link on the right We'll Take A cup of Kindness Yet: A Book For Our Times

Those of us that keep this blog going, with help from you our readers,  thank you for your support over the year and have a good 2019. May the movements that are rising throughout the world against the developing catastrophe of capitalism, its destruction of the climate, its pollution of the earth and air and water, its threat of nuclear war,  its mass poverty and alienation and violence, may these movements go from strength to strength. And may the international working class, the only force that can take life on earth and human society forward, may we begin to put our imprint on world events. To be able to do so means building a mass international working class socialist force of tens and tens of millions with a leadership with the objective and will to build a democratic socialist world. Facts For Working People hopes that this book can contribute to this task.
