Let us not forget that young people are not the problem but the solution to our problems. These cartoons are affirmations of resistance made by a thirteen year old activist in current times. When the right to own guns is more important than our right to live, when the rule of law is enforced by a violent, misogynist alcoholic in the form of Brett Kavanaugh, when the State is trying to erase transgender people, youth are resisting. I love how the orange is being stomped, the child stands against the NRA even as its leadership brands him as an actor and sets him up as a target, and the woman continues to yell out in the face of violence and gasslighting.
