This political artistic expression is shared with us by a reader and friend whose 13 year old daughter created them.
Let us not forget that young people are not the problem but the solution
to our problems. They benefit most from defending the future of human
society from the catastrophe capitalism has in store for us if it is not
eradicated. Art is one of the ways we fight back. Art has always been a
weapon of revolutionary struggle.

These cartoons are affirmations of resistance made by a thirteen year old activist in current times. When the right to own guns is more important than our right to live, when the rule of law is enforced by a violent, misogynist alcoholic in the form of Brett Kavanaugh, when the State is trying to erase transgender people, youth are resisting. I love how the orange is being stomped, the child stands against the NRA even as its leadership brands him as an actor and sets him up as a target, and the woman continues to yell out in the face of violence and gasslighting.
