Interfering in a country's elections. It's plain un-American

Is my mind failing me but didn't Obama go to Europe to convince the Brits to vote to stay in the EU? What was the invasion of Grenada about, cornering the nutmeg market? What about Allende, Guatemala and Iran in 1953?  The assassination of Lumumba; was that interfering?  If we want to have credibility with workers in the rest of the world we need to pay more attention to history and our government's role in it, then change who speaks for us. Here's an example of interference unless you think the Russians control the Carnegie Mellon University.
