The corporate media says we do not know what we are protesting about. How about this for a start?
We are against the dictatorship of the profit addicted corporations over American society.
We are for at least a $15.00 minimum wage or a $5.00 wage increase for all whichever is the greater.
We are for equal pay for equal work.
We are for jobs for all
We are for free education and free healthcare for all.
We are against sexism, racism and for working class unity.
We are for the building of a working peoples' party to end the monopoly of American politics by the bosses' parties, the Republicans and the Democrats.
Recently, the Occupy Wall Street movement has taken on momentum against the bankers. From Seattle to Toronto, New Mexico to Boston and New York City, workers and young people are moving into to action. Beneath the surface of US society there is a growing hatred of the rich and their attacks on working people and youth. It this anger and these attacks that is driving people to take action. We believe that objective situation is the most favorable in a long time.
The situation is more favorable to building a movement for change and against the offensive of big business. This bosses offensive is determined to try and drive us back to the conditions that existed prior to the great upsurge that built the CIO and the Civil Rights and womens movement.
We want to help build a genuine organization that can organize a counteroffensive to the bosses’ attacks and we want to do this together. We also think that with all the new fresh layers of workers and youth entering political life there would be strong support for an organization, a united front of action if you like, that was built around the demands above. We have had very preliminary discussions with a few workers about this and are interesting hearing from more. This quote describes exactly what is out there and what we need to tap in to and help grow. "I've felt this way for a long time. I've really just kind of been waiting for a movement to come along that I thought would last and have some resonation within the community," said Steven Harris, a laid-off truck driver in Kansas City.

This is something that is long overdue. Then again the timing may be just right. This is something that should be more than national but international to give hope not just to those living now but for future generations. Lets not just be observers or spectators of history but lets be participants and authors of history.
Well, obviously we agree. But it will remain "overdue" if we don't try to make it happen. Are you interested in that? If you are you can send us an email and perhaps we can work together towards such a goal. It should be international too obviously.
