What is likely to happen? To look at this look at what happened at Chernobyl. First of all the workers who stayed behind there to try and control the situation were not told how bad things were. As a result this is what happened to them. Within three months 28 of them died from radiation exposure. At least 19 died from infections that resulted from having large sections of their skin burnt off from radiation. And 106 developed radiation sickness with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and dropping blood counts that left them highly vulnerable to infections.
We repeat the point we made. If anybody is going in to try and control the situations in these plants then the owners, the shareholders and all the politicians who took bribes from these companies must be on the front line. They must go in first and be there to the end. This will begin to put an end to this madness of building nuclear power plants.
