While in Galway Ireland in June 2022, Roger Martinez and I and our good friend Saoirse, attended the launching of our friend, Irish poet and satirist, Kevin Higgins' latest book of poems titled Ecstatic. The venue was Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop in Galway.
In the video Kevin reads a poem he wrote as he experienced waiting in line on a queue at the Ryan Air help desk in Shannon Airport. The particular poem is titled For Michael O'Leary who was at the time the CFO of Ryan Air and is known as a ruthless and arrogant businessman, one of Ireland's wealthiest. He also breeds horses and cattle.
