The Right to Abortion and the Right To Have a Child are Inseparable.

Those who deny a woman's right to abortion on demand deny the born child the right to a life without want. They oppose the social services that are essential for a healthy existence abandoning both the woman and her child to the savagery of the market. It is working class and poor women that bear the brunt of these assaults on women's reproductive rights. Having a child should not mean a woman is denied the right to a career, education, security and living her life to the fullest pursuing her own goals. The right to safe abortion on demand cannot be separated from the necessity of a woman to gain financial independence, to not have to rely on a man. and to have a child if she wishes without fear of poverty.

Middle class and bourgeois women, while also victims of oppression do not experience the results of these attacks as working class women do. This means jobs, wages, health care, housing are all issues that must be linked to the struggle for abortion rights.
