John Throne (Sean O' Torain) , was one of the founders of Facts For Working People
Many readers friends and comrades may be aware that John Throne, who
many of you also know as Sean O' Torain, who was born on this day in 1944, died on September 8th 2019. Sean was one of the
co-founders of this blog and without him it would not have lasted as
long as it has. He was also one of my closest friends. It is a great
loss to the working class not only of Sean's native Ireland but here in
the US, and the world. He never relinquished his belief that the working
class will struggle to change the world in which we live for the better
and only the working class can not only end capitalism but also build a
healthy democratic socialist world.
