Video: Why the Boeing 737 Max Crashed Explained

This is an interesting video about the Boeing plane that has been taken out of service after two of them crashed due to a software program that forced the plane to head downward.  What is also important about this is that this reveals the real inefficiency of capitalist production. I'll let the video explain it as it's not complicated but it is clearly a product and the deaths of almost 400 people were clearly a product of company decisions that were made in the interests of profit and shareholder value as opposed to safety and social need. This occurs in all aspects of production but is rarely made amn issue of except when the mass media is unable to cover or ignore it.

The same problem, market failure led to the death of 11 workers and millions of gallons of oil spewed in to the Gulf of Mexico with the BP spill some years ago.  The regulations and rules for deep water drilling were left in the hands of the energy industry officials.

Even in a capitalist, so-called free market economy, public entities are far more efficient and certainly safer than private ones. Under real public ownership and management by the working class as producer and consumer, the failures under public entities under capitalist management will be eliminated.
