My mother used to always say this: A Womens' Work Is Never Done."

Sean O'Torain.     International Women's Day.

On the March.

I am sharing here below Vivien Seale's post from another source. I hope you do not mind Vivien. Happy International Women's Day and thanks to my mother who brought me into the world and fed and clothed me and fought with me over my left wing ideas. Her conclusion was that it was those "batters" on the head playing sports from which I got numerous concussions which gave me those mad socialist ideas.  But by fighting with me she hardened me up, showed me that people should stand for what they believed in. She and I believed in different things. But we agreed we should fight for our beliefs. This hardened me psychologically and emotionally. It prepared me for when the revolutionary organization, the CWI to which I gave me most of my adult life went bad, expelled me and slandered me, and lied about me and the majority of that organization walked away I stayed and fought. I have a lot to thank my mother for. I read now that 50% of the world's factory workers are women. I hope I live long enough to see this great force take the lead in the streets and the workplaces and strengthen and enrich the movement to change the world. It will be a great day altogether.
