Why did god give $4 million to Serena Williams?

Serena, god's choice yesterday
I watched an exciting tennis game yesterday, the second set especially.  The American, Serena Williams won her 18th Grand Slam.  I remember some of the greats like Billy Jean King and Rod Laver but Serena Williams has to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest woman player of all time.  At 5'9" and 150 pounds she's powerful and extremely fit and agile; she overwhelmed the Danish woman Caroline Wozniaki. It's amazing to see the human frame so tightly wound, the skill and precision.

Serena received $4 million for her less than two hour match and was presented with an 18 carat gold Tiffany bracelet by a couple of other millionaires.  Bankers JP Morgan, Chase, as well as Mercedes Benz and other corporations are sponsors of the event.

Serena admits, as many people in this rare situation do, that god did it for her. She couldn't have done it without him. What I am really interested in is why god chose her to get the $4 million over the other player who probably only got maybe $2 million; a small detail but worth knowing.

More importantly, why does god team up with groups like JP Morgan?  His son threw people like that out of the temple.

And another question.  Why doesn't god divvy up that $4 million and feed people that are dying of starvation?  I find it so perplexing.  I know there's a reason but I just can't figure it out.
