Police and protesters clash in Spain: Workers of Europe and the world rise up.

This week has seen increased clashes between workers and youth in Spain over the government's austerity program.  As the video below reports, more than 50% of Spanish youth between 16 and 24 are unemployed. a situation that cannot continue.  This is capitalism.  The response to such catastrophic figures is increased assaults on living standards as is occurring in Greece that will inflame the situation further. This unprecedented crisis of global capitalism will not escape the US and allow the 1%'s media to dominate the public discourse over whether or not Obama is a Muslim or as Romney now suggests, his economic policies are not grounded in the bible.  Consciousness tends to lag behind events and we may yet see a more general European and eventually globally coordinated response to the crisis of the market.
