US Imperialism a mad wild dog.

Not very long, after all, the job requires it
I see that warmonger Obama is in Australia announcing that US Marines are to based there. And his partner warmonger Clinton is in the Philippines shoring up US Imperialism's base there and going on to what was Burma today. The idea is to pour more military power into the Asian area to encircle China. Then there are the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to encircle China from the other side, to stand against Russia and to grab the oil and gas of central Asia. US imperialism is extending its military reach. It is doing so at a time when it is broke. In fact it is increasing its military stance against China at a time when it is depending on China to fund its debts. This is madness, the arrogance of a super power loosing its dominance.

Then at home the US working class and especially the youth are reaching the end of their tether. Mass demonstrations of the OWS against Wall Street are gaining strength. These took place in over 90 locations yesterday with over 200 people arrested in New York alone. The idea of the 1% v's the 99% is now part of the mass consciousness. This is a sign of increasing class consciousness and struggle in the US. In the next days a so called super committee of Democrats and Republicans are supposed to come to an agreement to cut over $1 trillion of government spending. This at a time when the US youth and working class are on the streets. This is also madness.

These people, the US ruling class are mad. US capitalism, US imperialism is broke. It cannot win the wars it is engaged in. Today we have reports of clashes between Kurdish and central Iraqi troops and cops in Iraq as US troops prepare to reduce their forces. Its military rank and file are showing signs of cracking as we see with members taking part in the OWS movement. Yet they are barreling on as if nothing has happened, as if nothing has changed. I see that the warmonger Wall Street shill Obama has now called in the head of the EPA and told her that there would be no increase in ozone controls. To hell with the whole planet. What do these people think is going to happen?

Things will not go on the way they are. US imperialism cannot afford, does not have the resources to play the world dominant role it has played for the past decades. It is over. But the question is how will this take place. US imperialism and their mad dogs at the top will not let this happen without a most ferocious fight. After all we are talking about a class that has historically engaged in assassinations of their own citizens and their own class when they thought this was necessary, JFK, Robert K, MLK, Malcom X, the Panther leaders, we could go on and on. And their involvement in some way in 9/11 to provide the excuse for war is another example.

The leaders of the workers' organizations prop up US imperialism. We campaign for them to stop playing this role. But they will not do so until organized opposition is developed inside their own organizations and the working class and youth to the extent that their own positions are threatened. This is why the OWS movement is so important. It is the beginning of an opposition here in the home territory of US Imperialism which with ups and downs will threaten the beast, threaten the mad dog and all who go along with it. Building a mass alternative for a democratic socialist American and a democratic socialist world is the only way to prevent the planet being destroyed by US imperialism and its mad dog competitors and rivals and friends around the world.

Sean.
