Ex Nazi and unelected misogynist is welcomed by German ruling class.

I see the former ex Nazi youth member is being welcomed by the German ruling class. Even letting him speak in their parliament. They try to say he was a reluctant member of the Hitler youth. That he had no choice. Of course he had a choice. Hundreds of thousands of Germans fought the Nazis and died in doing so. The truth is that this pope put his own organization, the undemocratic anti women Catholic church, and his own career before fighting the Nazis. He deserves nothing but condemnation and to be shunned.

On top of that he has been an active direct participant in covering up the child abuse crimes of his organization. It has got so bad that even the right wing pro Catholic Fine Gael party in Ireland has condemned the Catholic church for putting its own so called canon law above the law of the country and covering up these crimes.

Some years ago when these crimes began to break into the public arena first and undermine the Catholic church the Wall Street Journal had an editorial explaining how important the Catholic church was to the capitalist system. And this is true. The catholic church is the most powerful of the Christian churches and it at all times supports capitalism. It is the major church of capitalism, it transformed itself from the church of feudalism to the main church of capitalism. When the liberation theology developed in a wing of this organization a few decades ago it was crushed and driven out with the utmost ruthlessness.

I see that over 150,000 Germans have left the Catholic church in the past year. This is good. How can anybody belong to an organization whose leadership is old men, unelected by its membership, which believes that women are inferior, and believes that whenever capitalism gets into trouble or is challenged it should rush to its aid. And on top of that live celibate lives, well as far as they claim. It was Joyce who said that a man without a woman is an incomplete man. This organization is run by incomplete men.

The wealth of the Catholic church should be taken over and used to help the poor of the world. The money changers should be driven out of the temple.

Sean.
