9/11 A few suggestions for consideration.

On this anniversary of 9/11 I would like to suggest that you read the book: "The War On Truth" by Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed.

Here are a few morsels from it to wet your appetite. A top FBI investigator John O'Neill "complained bitterly that the US State Department - and behind it the oil lobby who make up Bush's entourage - blocked attempts to prove Bin Ladens guilt" in relation to bombings of the world trade center in 1993, a US base in Saudia Arabia in 1996, the US embassies in Nairobi and Dar-es-salaam in 1998 and the USS Cole in 1998.

The US government was warned of the coming 9/11 attacks by German intelligence, Pakistani intelligence, Egyptian intelligence, Rusian intelligence, British intelligence, French intelligence. Jordan intelligence Moroccon intelligence and more. These were not acted on in a way as to stop the attacks. Cheyney dismissed them just as old "rehashes."

But they were acted on. Jeb Bush in Florida prepared to if necessary declare martial law. San Franciso Mayor Willie Brown was told in advance to cancel his flight plans to New York. But most interesting of all Newsweek reported that on the 10th, that is the day before the attacks a group of top Pentagon officials canceled travel plans for the next day.

Then we have the money. Millions of dollars were bet that United Airlines whose planes were hijacked would decline. This is what happened and millions were made by these investors. One estimate says that up to $100 million in illegal transactions were rushed through the WTC before the disaster. Sources told CBS news that the afternoon before the attack, alarm bells were sounding over unusual trading in the US stock options market. The firm that was used to bet on the fall of the United shares was headed until 1998 by 'Buzzy' Krongard, who would go on to be the executive director of the CIA. There was one single $5 billion trade in US Treasuries, these are hedges against crisis. Such a large single trade cannot take place without the Treasury Dept knowing the identity of the purchaser. But the Treasury Department refuses to say who made this trade.

Finally so as not to make this too long. Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta gave testimony before the 9/11 Commission. He described what he saw in the White House bunker when the plane was heading to the Pentagon where it would crash and kill 125 people. He said: "During the time that the airplane was coming into the Pentagon, there was a young man who would come in and say to the vice President (Cheyney), "The plane is 50 miles out." "The plane is 30 miles out." And when it got down to the plane is 10 miles out the young man also said to the vice President, "do the orders still stand?" And the vice President turned and whipped his his neck around and said, "of course the orders still stand. Have you heard anything to the contrary?" Well at that time, I didn't know what all of that meant. Cheyney was referring to the order that all planes would stay grounded and not be scrambled to shoot down any planes.

No wonder the families of victims have fought for a proper investigation. At the very least sections of the US ruling class knew that 9/11 was going to take place and they let it go ahead.

It was vital to their plans to whip up fear and patriotism and go to war abroad and also make a fortune out of increased arms spending.
