Pakistan Murder. Iraq explodes again. Afghanistan they cannot win.

US capitalism cannot win in Afghanistan. When the US military rank and file realize this and begin to rebel then a major shock will erupt through US capitalism at home and abroad. Coming together with the future economic and political crisis a new radicalization will develop in Us society.

The recent reports on this blog explain that US capitalism cannot win in Afghanistan. It is talking about dividing the country things are so bad. Just in the last few days we have had the new eruption of killings and attacks on the state forces in Iraq. The problems of that country have not been resolved by any means. It is just waiting to explode again. And now we have the deepening crisis in Pakistan. US capitalism's wars and occupations in the entire area are in trouble.

The strategy of US capitalism in its wars and occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq is based on having a stable Pakistan as an ally. But now the Pakistan government has lost coalition partners and looks certain to fall. And in the last few days the liberal minded governor of the province of the Punjab was shot dead by one of his own guards because he had spoken out in defense of a Christian woman who had been sentenced to death for blasphemy. Being killed by his own bodyguard shows how deeply rooted the Islamic fundamentalists are within the Pakistani state. And these forces get more support daily as the US drone attacks increase. Obama has actually increased these drone attacks compared to when Bush was in office. US capitalism are bogged down in the Middle east. Almost daily their problems increase.

But the biggest problem of all still lies ahead for US capitalism. This is when the US military itself will begin to rebel. The signs of this are clear. There are increased suicides and more and more of the military are speaking out against the wars. Bradley Manning is the most powerful example. There are many many more like him. When the US military moves into opposition this will not only undermine the US war effort in the Middle East it will also explode back into US society and accelerate the developing anger at the economic crisis that is developing there. Coming together with the new phase of the economic crisis a dramatic radicalization of US society will unfold. And when it is seen worldwide that US capitalism could not win in the Middle east this will help change the world consciousness and make it easier for working class people to see that capitalism's offensive in general can be taken on and thrown back. The balance of class forces in the world can be shifted in favor of the working class.

US capitalism is so blind in its arrogance that it boasts of the dirty tricks it is up to. The Wall Street Journal today spoke of the: "several assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists. In November for example, mysterious men on motorbikes attached magnetic mines to cars being driven by Majid Shahriari and Fereydoon Abbasi both of whom are said to have worked on the Iranian nuclear program. The former was killed the latter wounded." Think about this report in the Wall street Journal. How did the reporter know that men on motorbikes attached magnetic mines to these scientists cars. Was a Wall Street Journal reporter just by incredible luck passing by at the time. No of course not. The reporter was given this information by the US state. The Wall street Journal then speculated that the CIA or Mossad are behind these murders. And also behind the computer virus that has been messing with the Iranian nuclear program. So it is okay for US capitalism to use the Internet to conduct its foreign policy and attack other countries but it is not okay for wikileaks to let us know about this. Then there are the hundreds of fighters the CIA are running in Afghanistan.

US capitalism is heading for a new catastrophic crisis. It cannot sustain the debt that it is carrying. The huge speculation and swindling on Wall Street and the banks continues as if there was not the crash of 2008. Politically its is being lead by two parties who are obsessed with their own immediate interests and in continual conflict while the real power rests with a handful of dominant corporate figures and bureaucrats. The US is in a military, economic and political crisis. The future is very bleak for US capitalism. It is moving to attack the working class as a way out. this will not work and as it tries to do this is will only inflame and radicalize the working class. There are interesting and challenging times ahead for working class and radical activists.

Remember defend Bradley Manning. Defend wikileaks. Defend Assange.

Sean.

We don't need a large military. It promotes aggression and is way too expensive to carry. Why don't we try to promote peace good will and fairness instead. Less than 1% fight our wars for us. Most of us have no involvement and this gives us no real perspective of what's involved in fighting a war. We need to pull together to solve world hunger. We have to stand united for world peace.
