About 200 attended the march and demonstration here in Chicago. The spirit was good with Tax the Rich, Make the Rich Pay, being the main chants. This was good. The marchers were looking in the right direction for the solution. The participants were overwhelmingly from the University of Illinois - Chicago. Unfortunately little or no out reach had been done to the high schools and the working class communities. This is a lesson for the future. But it was a good spirited march and the marchers were against any cuts in education, jobs or services and in favor of making the rich pay. The way to go.
