Catholic Church. What should be done?

What should be done about this huge male dominated organization which supports capitalism and which has been abusing children on a massive scale.

If these abusers were not priests and bishops and cardinals they would be in jail. They are being given special treatment. They are outside the law. If a shop steward, a union activist, an anti capitalist activist were outside the law they would be in jail so fast their head would spin. But not these predator priests. One Irish government report showed that the catholic church was able to convince the police there to cooperate in covering up its crimes.

The head of this Catholic church outfit is the pope, he with the nazi background. His name was Joseph Ratzinger before they made him a pope. When he was a bishop in his native Germany he moved predator priests around to help them hide their crimes and to continue with their abusing. His actions were criminal. That is they were outside the law. Of Germany's 27 Catholic dioceses at least 18 are facing government investigations into child abuse. This Ratzinger comes out of that filth. There is no way he did not know about this. Now he is head of the Catholic Church.

In 2001 this pope issued a directive as a Vatican cardinal that bishops world wide were to keep child abuse investigations secret under threat of ex-communication. That is they would go hell if they did not cover u. (Wherever hell is?) This pope is part of the cover up. He is a criminal.

#What should be done about this organization.

#First of all its members should leave. It is unjustifiable to belong to an organization run by men, that thinks women are inferior, that makes men celebate and which hides the sexual abuse of children at every turn about. Every member of the Catholic Church should leave it.

#If people cannot do this and feel they have to go to this church at the very least seek to democratize and end its sexism and celibacy. All its full time workers, priests, nuns etc must be allowed to marry. And all its full time workers should be elected by the members and subject to recall at any time. Women must be allowed to be priests and hold whatever position they wish within the organization.

These are my proposals. But what is not imaginable is for members of this Church to go on as if nothing has happened. The catholic Church has been dealt a body blow. And its insides have been shown to be rotten. Just as many of us old lefties have been saying for years.
