Who's the saint decider?

I see that a priest who aided lepers in Hawaii has just become a saint. Now that's a good thing to do I admit. How come my mum hasn't been made a saint? I don't understand it. My mum put up with my dad for 57 years. My mum was a compassionate and hard working person. My mum left school at 14 to go to work. She taught me to read before I went to school. She survived the blitz and worked in the latter part of the war in an aircraft factory up in Lincolnshire; unlike the pope who was in the Nazi youth.

My mum was still working at age 8o, she never really had a retirement.

My mum was a ladies darts cup winner. That's enough to get a sainthood surely.
