That’s the message coming from this government, the media, and much of this society. It’s loud, unapologetic, and it’s racism in its rawest form.
People like me have been massacred in the equivalent of multiple “Bondis” every single day for 805 days straight. And the response has been silence, denial, and arms sales.
When Zionists are killed, governments mobilise, media attacks, draconian laws are rushed through, emergency security measures enacted, police crackdowns begin, and the full weight of state power activates.
Muslims are pressured to condemn, Palestine activists are blamed and attacked in the streets, and anti-Palestinian racism becomes completely normalised.
When Palestinians are killed by the thousands, every day, for over two years, what happens? Worse than nothing. The government arms our killers, protects them diplomatically, and criminalises us for protesting our own slaughter.
Palestinians are openly attacked in our streets for violence we had nothing to do with.
That is the hierarchy of human worth and it is pure, spine-chilling racism.
Do we demand that Zionists condemn every massacre of Palestinians? Do they issue statements after every day of genocide? Are they required to publicly prove they are not complicit? No, ofc not! They face no witch hunts, no smears, not even criticism.
Remember Christchurch? After a white supremacist murdered 51 Muslims, did every white person have to defend themselves? Did every Christian have to issue condemnation statements? Was it made a crime to criticise Islam or Muslims? Were anti-racism protesters smeared and criminalised?
No, ofc not, because that would have been absurd, racist, and collective punishment. But that is exactly what is demanded of Palestinians and our allies, every single day.
Our humanity, our safety, and even our lives are treated as less important than the comfort of those erasing us.
Genocide is not a protected activity - It is the worst crime human beings can commit - yet this government protects it, covers it up, and attacks the victims.
Zionists are not a protected group. Zionism is a political ideology built on violent racial supremacy and ethnic cleansing, like Nazism or the Ku Klux Klan. You don’t get immunity for choosing a supremacist ideology. You get criticised, opposed and boycotted - because every non-racist's position should be: mass-murdering children is bad, whether they're Palestinian, Israeli, or Australian.
What we are being told, over and over, is that Palestinian deaths don’t matter, that our repeated massacres are “complicated,” and that our lives are worth less than the FEELINGS of those committing, enabling, or cheering on daily war crimes against us.
Our job, apparently, isn’t just to be erased. It’s to die quietly and conveniently, without making a fuss, and without even naming what’s being done to us, so we don’t upset the people slaughtering us.
Just by being alive, we are divisive.
That isn’t justice, or even democracy - it is raw, institutional racism - written in Palestinian blood and enforced by Australian law.
Stop the genocide.
